- During the 2020 International Swimming League meet, the American Swimmer Caeleb Dressel broke the 100M IM world record becoming the first swimmer under 50 seconds in this event.

China's 4x100 Mixed Relay
- On Oct.1, 2020 at China's National Swimming Championships, Xu Jiayu, Zhang Yufei, Yan Zibei and Yang Junxuan finished the race and set a new world record in 3:38.41, that is 0.15 seconds faster than the world record set by the US team, Matt Grevers, Lilly King, Caeleb Dressel and Simone Manuel at the 2017 World Championships in Budapest.
